Barefoot Walk - A Mothers' Call for Peace
On March 24, a group of Palestinian and Israeli mothers walked barefoot through Rome to call for peace in the Middle East. The walk brought together women from communities deeply affected by conflict, grounded in one message: even in division, dialogue and coexistence are possible.
“Mothers for Peace” is part of the global movement Mothers’ Call for Peace.
The movement is led by Reem Al-Hajajreh and Yael Admi through their respective organizations, Women of the Sun (Palestine) and Women Wage Peace (Israel), both nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Together, Reem and Yael walked hand in hand, barefoot. A gesture of humanity and humility. A way to reconnect with the land that has absorbed both blood and tears. To feel the pain that unites mothers everywhere and the earth that sustains us all.
They are joined by mothers and advocates from around the world, standing together in a unified call for peace.

At the heart of this movement is a simple but powerful truth.
Mothers, regardless of where they come from, share the same pain, hopes, and desire for their children to live in safety and dignity.
This is the expression of the divine feminine.
The capacity to hold.
To nurture.
To protect life.
The ongoing cycle of violence has made it clear that a new approach is needed. One rooted in empathy, inclusion, and collaboration.

These mothers are calling for an immediate end to violence.
The protection of children.
The full inclusion of women in peace negotiations.
Their message is clear. Lasting peace cannot be achieved without the voices and leadership of women.
The walk became not only a public demonstration, but a collective act of awareness and responsibility.
The march marked the beginning of a broader series of global engagements. An effort to raise awareness. To build momentum.
Following the walk, members of the movement met with Pope Leo XIV, continuing their efforts to bring this message to global leaders and institutions.
Supported by organizations like Vital Voices, the Mothers’ Call is expanding. A growing network of women and allies committed to ending cycles of violence.
The Barefoot Walk is only the beginning.
The organizers are building this work toward a future free from violence. A future where children no longer grow up in fear. Where they are not forced to become victims or participants in ongoing conflict.
This is a global call for participation.
To support this movement is to stand for a future where life is protected. Where dignity is upheld. Where the next generation is no longer defi ned by conflict.

Peace is not created through intention alone.
It requires courage.
It requires empathy.
It requires action.
These mothers have taken the first step.
Now, it is our turn.

Artist MILCK debuted and performed an original song written in honor of the event. Her music gave voice to the emotional core of the movement, amplifying the mothers’ call for peace through art and shared humanity. Photo: @ahmerkalam
Cosmic Highlights: From Reflection to Renewal
Over the past months, the skies have been guiding us through a period of recalibration.
Since the closing weeks of the year, cosmic rhythms have encouraged us to slow down, reflect, and realign before stepping into the new cycle now unfolding.
Like nature in winter, this time has been less about outward movement and more about quiet preparation. Beneath the surface, subtle shifts have been taking place, inviting deeper awareness, renewed clarity, and thoughtful choice.
As we arrive at the Spring Equinox, we begin to see that this period was not a pause, but a transition. The cosmos has been guiding us step by step from reflection into renewal.
Below are some of the key cosmic moments that have shaped this journey.

Cosmic Highlights
December – Reflection & Completion
The final weeks of the year carried a natural energy of completion. This time encouraged us to release what no longer belongs to the path ahead and to close cycles with awareness and gratitude.
January – Vision & New Momentum
January opened a window for setting intentions and imagining the path ahead. It encouraged us to look forward with clarity, aligning our goals with a deeper sense of purpose.
February – Turning Points & Realignment
February brought several significant planetary shifts that invited reflection and recalibration.
Saturn entering Aries (February 13) marked the beginning of a new cycle of courage, responsibility, and leadership.
Just days later, the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius (February 17) opened a powerful portal for collective awakening and new
Toward the end of the month, Mercury Retrograde in Pisces (February 25 – March 20) encouraged a slowing down of external momentum so that we could reconnect with intuition, review plans, and reconsider the direction we are moving in.
Together, these cosmic movements invited us to pause and listen more deeply to our inner guidance.
Early March – Release & Insight
The beginning of March continued the transformation.
The Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo (March 3) brought a powerful moment of release and purification. Lunar eclipses often illuminate what is out of alignment, allowing us to let go of habits, patterns, or commitments that no longer support our growth.
Shortly after, Venus entered Aries (March 6), introducing a renewed sense of passion, boldness, and creative energy.
These shifts began to move the collective energy forward again.
March 20 – The Spring Equinox: Renewal & Balance
The Spring Equinox marks the moment when day and night return to perfect balance.
In the Northern Hemisphere, it signals the beginning of spring and the reawakening of life after the stillness of winter.
Energetically, the Equinox reminds us that what we plant with intention now can grow and flourish in the months ahead.
In essence,
The journey from December to March has guided us through a natural rhythm of reflection, recalibration, and renewal.
Now, with the arrival of the Spring Equinox, thae invitation is to step forward with clarity, balance, and conscious intention.
The seeds we plant now have the potential to shape the months ahead.

A Crystal Experience with IXIM and Gem X

Mayra opening the circle with presence, breath, and intention.
On November 4th, IXIM partnered with Gem X, a global private club for jewelry enthusiasts, for an evening centered on presence, intentionality, and the exploration of Crystal energy. The gathering was hosted at PROXYCO, a Lower East Side gallery dedicated to showcasing emerging artists of Latin American descent.

A moment of quiet connection with IX Crystal IGOR Blue Topaz
Opening With Art & Intention
The evening began with a brief walkthrough of Lucía Vidales’s exhibition Sedimento, introduced by PROXYCO founders Alex Morris and Laura Saenz. Vidales’s shifting figures and fluid forms served as a reminder that our own inner landscapes function in a similar way. Energy moves, perception shifts, and understanding often arrives in fragments that eventually take shape. The exhibition helped settle the group into a mindset of openness before moving into the Crystal experience.
Opening the Circle: Presence & Connection
Guests then gathered in a circle for introductions and a moment of check-in. This simple practice allowed people to arrive fully and acknowledge where they were mentally and emotionally. It also created a sense of shared presence before moving into deeper work.
Mayra Hernandez (Founder of IXIM) and Julissa Diaz (IX Studio Assistant & Crystologist) then read Lawrence Stoller’s poem Crystals Can Serve Me. The reading was done across from one another, creating a visual and energetic bridge within the room. The poem spoke to Crystals as tools that support awareness, intention, and self-understanding. Its purpose was not to intellectualize the stones, but to shift the group into a receptive state.

Choosing a Crystal and Meeting Its Energy
Each participant selected a Crystal from a curated set chosen for the event. Before any explanation, guests were encouraged to simply sit with their stone and feel its presence. Rather than beginning with explanation or definitions, the group was encouraged to sit with their stone quietly and feel its presence.
Only after this initial moment of observation did Mayra introduce the properties and qualities associated with each Crystal type. People naturally grouped themselves according to the stone they selected, giving everyone a chance to notice how individual choices reflected internal needs or states of mind. The conversation opened into genuine reflection, curiosity, and connection.

Grounding & Integration
The evening anchored with a Black Tourmaline led grounding practice. Mayra guided the group into deeper embodied awareness, allowing scattered energy to settle. The room softened into stillness, offering a sense of stability and calm that carried into the final discussion. Guests shared insights, asked questions, and connected with sincerity and ease.
Closing in Gratitude
The evening reflected what IXIM is devoted to: guiding individuals on a journey of self-discovery, helping them align their energy with purpose, and using the transformative power of high-frequency Crystals to accelerate conscious living. From this place of deeper awareness, authentic connection with others arises effortlessly, because true connection is a natural result of being in consciousness, in touch with who we really are.
We are grateful to Gem X, to Alex and Laura at PROXYCO, and to every participant who shared this experience with us. This collaboration reflected the beauty of intentional community, and IXIM looks forward to continuing to create spaces that support clarity, alignment, and expanded connection.

Wings of Hope: IXIM at the Glasswing Gala

Mayra Hernandez & Celina de Sola (Co-founder and President Glasswing)
This October, Instituto Xilonen (IX) had the honor of joining Glasswing International’s Annual Gala, an evening dedicated to healing, resilience, and the power of collective transformation. Representing IX was our Founder, Mayra Hernández, part of this year’s Gala Host Committee, along with members of the IX Team, friends, and visionaries who gathered to celebrate a shared commitment to meaningful change.

Ana Hernandez
Through Instituto Xilonen, we were proud to support Glasswing International’s mission to strengthen communities through mental health, education, and wellbeing, bringing an energetic and consciousness dimension that highlights the inner harmony behind collective progress.
This year’s Gala honored Donna Karan, visionary designer, humanitarian, and IX Crystal Keeper; alongside Televisa Univision, for their extraordinary contributions to wellbeing and social impact. Their recognition beautifully echoed the evening’s spirit of unity, creativity, and service.

For the occasion, IX presented “Wings of Hope,” a luminous Citrine Crystal installation inspired by the butterfly effect and the belief that small acts of hope can ripple outward to create lasting impact. The radiant wings opened like arms ready to receive and give, inviting guests to pause, connect, and take a photo as a symbolic act of remembrance.

Donna Karan & Celina de Sola
The Citrine Crystal, known for its qualities of light, abundance, creativity, and renewal, infused the evening with warmth and upliftment, amplifying the collective vibration of joy, purpose, and connection. It reflected IX’s belief that mental health and consciousness are intertwined: one nurtures emotional balance, the other expands awareness and compassion.
We are deeply grateful to have served as a channel of hope and energy within this movement and to honor the leadership of Celina de Sola and the Glasswing team. IX looks forward to continuing to support Glasswing’s inspiring work, nourishing consciousness wherever it blooms.
