Our theme for October is Celebration – celebrating that we have chosen to be here now, to impact the consciousness awakening on Mother Earth.
When we recognize the abundance in our lives and choose to feed ourselves with joy as much as possible, we create the energy to weather any storm. And from this place of well-being and celebration, we can be in service to the world.
Our Crystal this month is Tuyen, a beautiful, grounding Pyrite. Among other things, the ancients used Pyrite as a mirror for self-reflection. We chose Tuyen to remind us to shift our mindset to the positive and celebrate what we can do during challenging times. Let’s celebrate that our inner strength is immense, our point of view is our choice, and this ability to make choices is ultimately where our power lies.

About the Name
The feminine name Tuyen originated in Vietnam, where it meant thread or ray.
About the Crystal
Tuyen is a Pyrite – a stone of manifestation, action, and determination. It can start a fire when struck. Pyrites pull from the abundant energy of the Earth to give a refreshing dose of strength, vitality, and willpower, which boosts confidence and the motivation necessary for achieving goals through daily, focused effort.
Pyrite brings out our inner warrior, who knows the journey of many miles starts with one small step. Ancients used the reflective surface of Pyrite as a mirror for the soul to recognize bad habits and establish new patterns with a positive, can-do attitude. Pyrite grounds higher knowledge into action, inspiring us to make sure our choices nurture our community and our world.
