In-House Graphic Designer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop graphics and visuals for product branding, advertising, email blasts, logos, and digital content.
  • Create retail merchandising signage, floor displays, and product labels.
  • Prepare/design sales presentations and mock-ups.
  • Maintain organized shared drive.
  • Select colors, images, text style, and layouts for various projects
  • Assist on photo shoots in an art direction capacity, as needed.
  • Create designs by hand or using computer drawing software.
  • Assist team, while utilizing own artistic ability, skills, training, and creativity to help create trend-forward design results.
  • Other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Duties

  • Draft mockups of website designs, brochures, iconography, and any other marketing materials required
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mockups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts
  • Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Design, Graphics or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with hands-on graphic disciplines/digital design experience.
  • Graphic design: 4 years (Preferred)

Platforms and Software Experience

  • Advanced proficiency with Macintosh platform, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, HTML 5 Expert level in Adobe Master Collection CS6 incl. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
  • Web Design; skilled in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
  • Responsive HTML email marketing creative experience.
  • Design and code table-based email templates in HTML.
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML with the ability to hand-code email templates

Additional Experience

  • Experience in strategic brand development, branding, and marketing equities required.
  • Brand guideline development experience.
  • Must be current with creative marketplace, the trends, innovation, including up to date on new techniques and technology.
  • Skill to take abstract ideas and craft them into executable plans and creative concepts
  • Knowledge of web design processes and web content management a plus
  • Proficient at print and digital design & production
  • Expert in image editing, icon design, typography and layout
  • Experience managing a fast-paced project pipeline and participate in cross-functional workflow
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be problem-solving oriented, motivated, self-starting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
